Now to that severe weather slamming the east, as storms bring record rains and powerful winds. The engulfed roads frinto new England. Heaviest rain falling through Pennsylvania, up through Boston. But this was just the beginning of all of those dangerous roads. Check it out. Northeast nightmare. Blinding rains causing chaos on the commute. This is nuts. Reporter: In the nation's capital, the capitol nearly struck by lightning. Winds gusting up to 60 miles per hour, taking out degrees. One crashing into this D.C. City bus with people inside. Thank god nobody was hurt. Reporter: At the national Jays game, crews scrambling to cover the field, postponing the game until later today. In Pennsylvania, visibility so poor. I did pull over briefly so I could get myself together. Reporter: People running for cover in Delaware and in new Jersey, check out this guy's new ride. Trying to figure out another way of transportation to get home. Now this will come to an end. Still flash flood watches from New York City, up to Providence and Boston. We'll keep those for most of the day, then drop them out. Only a half-inch of rain. Heaviest will fall along the low pressure system.
