"Ghostbusters" is big news about the beloved movie classic this morning and T.J. Holmes, we're going to call him in the social square. Hey, good morning. Robin, the big news is something strange and doesn't look good to a lot of people because it's been three decades, a lot of people were excited about the reboot, the all female reboot now getting word about an all male reboot as well stealing some of the ladies' thunder. Are there that many ghosts? It's the comedy classic that busted its way into movie history more than 30 years ago. ? Ghostbusters ? Reporter: And now once again it's time for slime. This is big, peter. Reporter: Sony picture as announcing it's broadening the "Ghostbusters" brand to include TV show, merchandise and, get this, not one but two movies. Climb that like a tree. Reporter: Yep, we already knew about the all female "Ghostbusters" reboot starring "Bridesmaids" co-stars Melissa Mccarthy and Kristen wiig coming out next summer. Pins in my legs, can still do this. Reporter: But now we know there will also be a male version setting up an all-out "Ghostbusters" battle of the second. There's something you don't see every day. Reporter: That all male version due out in 2017 and rumor has it the flick could star Channing Tatum who is no stranger as you may know to all male co-stars. And one of the original ghostbusters himself. Wow, this place is great. Reporter: Dan aykroyd who is reportedly also heading up a new Sony production called ghost corps aimed at dreaming up more "Ghostbusters" themed ideas. It is calculated thinking they want to extrapolate and take advantage of "Ghostbusters" as much as they can. Reporter: Putting the boot in reboot and hoping to make a whole lot of green. He slimed me. Okay, you all, I know, excited but a lot are upset it's taking the thunder from the female version which was the reboot so now -- I think it will help each other. Feel like competitors because it's stealing the thunder from the females. That was the one, that's a girl version of -- Can't we all just get along?
