The actress sharing these emotional photos last week shaving her head as she undergoes treatment and now revealing new details about her struggle. ABC's Deborah Roberts is here with much more on this. Good morning, deb. Hey, robin. So many of us recall shannen Doherty as that feisty TV actress from the '90s, the one who never shied away from a fight. Well that fiery spirit is probably going to serve her very well because she is in the fight of her life and in true form she's open and honest about it. Fighting back tears shannen Doherty opens up to "E.T." About her painful year and a half with breast cancer revealing it may have spread. One of my surgeries we discovered that some of the cancer cells might have actually have gone out of the lymph nodes so for that reason we are doing chemo and then after chemo I'll do radiation. Reporter: Best known for the '90s teen drama "Beverly hills 90210." Reverse culture shock. Reporter: And "Charmed." The 45-year-old Doherty diagnosed in February of 2015 says her three rounds of chemo took a toll. My treatments are my treatments. There's nothing I can do to change it like stage three, stage four, it's not going to change that. Reporter: But toughest of all she says thinking about the future. Living without a breast is manageable. It's the worry of your future and how your future is going to affect the people you love. Reporter: Doherty is sharing her pain and determination to help other women, last week even posting these personal heartbreaking moments on her instagram shaving her head surrounded by her mom and friends. We did stages. We did a pixie and then we did a mohawk which was my favorite look then we finally had to get the shaver thing and just buzz it off. Reporter: She says she's continuing to eat right and stay positive. Gaining strength by going public with her struggle. I dance want somebody taking a picture of me coming out of the grocery store saying, oh sh, god, look at her. I wanted to put it out there the way it felt best to me? Putting it out there. That struggle so many people know about, including you, robin. In the midst of this she's waning one in court. She is using her former business manager arguing her cancer may have surfaced during a time when she didn't have health insurance and access to doctors. Something she's falling her management company for but in a statement to ABC news, the company says they wish her a full recovery and they look forward to presenting this case in court, not in the media. Oh. So it's a tough one for her but she's a tough spirit as you see. She really is making her mess her message and wanting to empower others going through this and can totally relate to that and wish her the best. We do. Thanks for sharing that, Deborah. The rest of shannen's airing on "Entertainment tonight." Are you ready for this.
