Hi I'm Meredith McGraw for ABC news live the clock is ticking for the White House and Democrats on Capitol Hill. And deal still has not been reached on raising the debt ceiling. And the government once again risks a shut down if an agreement isn't made before lawmakers head back to their districts during recess. In the Oval Office Friday the president said he's optimistic. Call it weren't legitimate test I can't imagine anybody. Every even thinking of using the debt ceiling has any negotiating wage. The Treasury Secretary Steve minutia and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have agreed to raising the debt ceiling and spending caps for the government. But still there at odds over terms of the legislation. Negotiations are expected to continue but there are concerns the department of treasury warns it could run out of money by September.
