We here at the Republican Governors Association annual conference this year and the Raton Florida the governors are gathering and celebrating their peak winds earlier this month. In the mid term elections but there is never win more surprising that when a Republican won the student Natalie. His name is Mary Hogan who is. Well does that are you being treated like a rock star here up your vehicle and. Well I gotta tell you get a lot of ascension. You know nobody really expected us to America seems to be sort of biggest prize of election season so were you bring people that are coming up congratulating us weather outside of that. How has your life kings and knows that now you have security and that happened probably overnight. Everybody knows who you are you're the big surprise how would spotlight. It's a little bit overwhelming quite frankly and it's it's it's been kind of world and I mean immediately on election night state trooper she opened my room. And now everybody in the country wants to talk to us. I'm just a no name guy who's a small businessman never held elected office and now we kind of pulled off the biggest upset in the country so it's it's changed quite a bit but I'm gonna. Try to stay grounded I mean what got elected was talking real people and that is in a regular guy that was sensing got things an average Melbourne. Are you the most in demand governor confirmed it seems like you know we want to lots of races and Illinois Massachusetts and Maryland. But. People are pretty excited when. I was surprised last night when. The opening dinner and Governor Christie. Spent half the speech talking about the win in Maryland and minority four times to help us he really pushed the other governors. To try to make a decision come and help us and he said a lot of but he was completely crazy when he talked about Maryland but we're happy that his subordinate RCA helped for the city into the race. Of course the topic of my fifteen point comes up do you think it have to be a governor. You know I I don't of the past to be governor but my opinion is that the crop of governors we have here and I've got a chance to get to know some of them. Coming up following the mall for all time I think they'd be actually govern and being a governor of the state of the governed for the opening you have to represent everybody. If they really tough decisions it actually managed things it's a better. In a breeding ground better training I think to become president where you're you're an executive capacity. Not to say we don't have any great folks in the senate or house but legislators don't have the same experiences people actually governing and running things. And hopefully like fifty who's obviously got no on the road helped calendar the people. He and keeping I'm. I'm a huge Chris Christie fan have been for a long time since he was first elected in 2009. I like the thing you want to lose faith which is what I do he was kind of role model for me because he did in 2000 not exactly what I just it. He nobody believes he could win he pulled off an upset and I got a great job as governor. And I couldn't be more grateful to hamper his help and its advice and then for believing in us coming Thursday night I think the world of governor Chris.
