The revelations about attorney general Eric Snider mean war. Shocking. This stir being. And just really in a political environment. Where. Almost to nothing seemed surprising anymore. From the federal level all the way down. And having been callous to buy everything that's going on in Washington. Etc. Despite all that this was still. Deeply. Shocking in deeply disturbed. I have tremendous. Accolades for the women who came forward. That is the essence of this meat to movement and this me too. Moment. Women who have suffered for many years from sexual harassment. Having the courage to come forward. We've seen it in fields all across society. We've seen it in media we've seeded incorporate we've seen didn't fare home we've seen it in government. I think these women were especially courageous. They be. We're dealing with the attorney general the top or enforcement according to the article they were threatened to not to say anything. And they came forward. Anyway. And that is to be applauded. Individually. And I think that collective. Movement is to be applauded. Change. Comes. When people demand change and change homes. Disturb being dis gusting. Behavior. Of sexual harassment against women and it his gone on for a long long time. And it must stop. The revelations were so shocking and disturbing to me. That I immediately called for two things. Number one. And investigation by an independent district attorney. So. There is justice. For every woman in every situation. No one is above the law no one should be afraid to come forward. And I hope to make that point. Dramatically. And the speed with which we made our. Decision last night. These women should have. Their day in court. They should. Have the opportunity to tell. A district attorney. The facts and circumstances. And then let the district attorney or district attorneys. Make a decision as to whether there is any criminal liability.
