The extension was granted after widespread. Problems which led to long lines at several voting locations around Galveston County. Some told us they waited up to two hours to vote after a snap flu with voting machines people cannot -- the larger -- That was this morning officials say the problem -- -- due in part with some elections workers not starting computer systems on time. Apparently each machine must complete a printing cycle of ballots. Before they can be used by voters those waiting were frustrated -- a little -- of proudly promote. -- organ the county elections office tells us all precincts were up and running by 9 AM that problems have since been minimal. Both the county Republican and democratic parties -- requested -- court order to keep the polls open late. A district judge ordering them open an additional hour and 54 minutes but some worry that's not enough. Noting that some people left possibly without voting. Because they have jobs they -- to -- to so they couldn't wait in line for hours it is possible some say that those folks could not make it back.
