At approximately 3:35 this morning the Merced area chp received a phone call of unknown injury traffic collision. Our officers arrived on scene and located a charter bus at this point we do not have the name of the charter bus that charter bus collided with. They poll. The roadway sank pulled. As a result of that collision we have five confirmed fatalities. Approximately 38 passengers were on board. Some of those passengers something some of them excuse makes it sustained substantial in major injuries. Five of those so far have been flown out to area hospitals. I can't we don't have a total number of injured at this point. Com put approximately. Five have been blown out in addition to the five who esteem unfortunately. Fatal injuries.
