Transcript for President George W. Bush, the Artist
Hello again from here in dallas, texas, where we have been talking with former president busch and mrs. Bush. A lot of us couldn't believe it when we heard that president bush's new life includes painting, even painting himself in the bath. So we asked about george w. Bush, the artist. Your paintings. Much to the amazement of a lot of people. People have been looking at your feet in the bathtub. by the way, that's not that easy to paint, water hitting water, just so you know. And how did you decide to do it in this arena? It's a beauty, isn't it? It may reflect my precocious nature, me painting myself in the bathtub or in the shower. I love to paint. Painting has changed my life in an unbelievably positive way. When you look at some of the reviews. Layers of visibility transparency, fragility. The quite ud of a certain charred ann. Wow, that's good. I haven't seen the reviews. The signature is more valuable than the painting. You know what the interesting lesson is, that you can keep learning in life. I mean, somebody said to me, man, you deserve to rest. And I don't want to rest. I want to live life, I want to follow the example of president 41 and sprinting to the grave. By the way, a lot of our critics say his paintings are good. And of course there will be a lot more of my interview to "nightline" and tomorrow night on "world news," mrs. Bush will show you around the presidential library, the good times and the dark ones.
