Our persons of the week. A mid the pain, the families determined to help their neighbors heal. Reporter: With so much pain and heartbreak on full display in Minneapolis this week, there was also hope. A reminder that we do care on the our neighbors, we do care about one another. After so much destruction in that city, stores destroyed, including grocery stores, Sanford middle school, not far from where George died, collecting food for families in need with help of the Sheridan story. So many families came to help. 29,000 bags of groceries collected. So many in Minneapolis doing what they can. This little girl whose front yard effort multiplied. 9-year-old Cameron Johnson began making brace lets and donating to those in need. Her father, a former pro football player mentioning his daughter's effort on his radio he had no idea how quickly her effort would grow. Tonight, cam ran and her dad telling us how much they've raised. So far we're raised $36,000 and the money we have raised from maing bracelets go to the people of Minneapolis. Yay! Reporter: With Cameron's help and all of those families back at this middle school, more than 2,000 families picking up those donated groceries. Tonight, those volunteers have vowed to keep going.
