Let's start with an area of your expertise and my favorite, reality TV royalty has returned. What should we watch? Yes, prepare to sashay away, ladies and gentlemen, because season 13 of rupaul's "Drag race" is back on VH1. A whole new crop of Uber talented drag queens are here from across the country are ready to compete to become America's next drag superstar. Not even the pandemic can bring this juggernaut of a show down. We actually got the season 12 finale back in may. It was an all-star season, but this season was filmed in the quarantine bubble with safety precautions of course. There is a socially distanced stage. If you've been over this show for awhile, expect the twists, turns, and it's the glitz and glam we all need for 2021. Catch up on demand on vh1.com and catch new episodes every Friday at 8:00 P.M. On vh-1. And that show was trending on Twitter overnight. I saw that this morning. A new comedy special has us saying so long and farewell to 2020. Tell us more. Yes, of course, well, 2021 obviously just begun but if you're in the need of a little reflection for the year we just endured, I highly recommend watching "Yearly departed" on Amazon prime. I mean, this series brings a series of eulogies to the year that was 2020, and the comedic star lineup includes Tiffany haddish, Sarah Silverman, phoebe Robinson, just to a name a few of the hysterical women that took part in this. I know we're all ready to say good-bye and good riddance to 2020 but definitely check this out for a much needed laugh to look back on 2020 with. Let's look back at the hits of the past year. What are your picks for the most bingeworthy content of 2020? On the bright side of 2020, it brought us a lot of bingeworthy entertainment. So let me start off with the biggest and best. 2020 brought us "Hamilton," the smash hit musical to our TV screens thanks to Disney plus all the way back in July, obviously Broadway has been shut down since spring so this continues to be the best way to get your fix. Okay, on to TV next, if you haven't watched "The queen's gambit" on Netflix, where have you been? What have you been doing? Watch this immediately. This show has been such a phenomenon, that chess sales actually skyrocketed, and the female lead annihilates her opponents with such skills that we're able to put a checkmate to 2020. Which we're all ready to do. Finally, I cannot leave without mentioning lady gaga's sixth studio album, "Chromatica." Which dropped back in may. Obviously you remember "Rain on me," her smash hit with Ariana grande which continues to be an anthem of all anthems. If you haven't hit play since may, you may want to do so this weekend. All right, daryn, thank you so much. You can get more from daryn as she hosts "People TV's" "Reality check" streaming Monday to Thursday 4:30 P.M. Eastern and pick up "People" on newsstands. Guys, anything on your to-watch list? I started watching "Industry." And "Dead to me." It's really good. On HBO I also watched -- did you see "I may destroy you"? No. Is it made the top spot in many people'sen critic's list this year, really good. On hulu "Normal people." Did you guys watch that? No. Excellent. I could keep going. I don't watch anything. I'm a fan of reality TV during this pandemic. I've been watching like bravo a lot. "Below deck." "Real housewives." You know that thing that saved me a lot too? Everything Dave Chappelle has ever done saved me on wherever I can get it. For me it was easy this year. "Mandalorian" and it reminded me of the bonding time with my daughter because she got into it as well. Coming up,row is known as the dating super bowl, and
