She's the host of "Journey to launch" podcast. Please welcome Jamila Souffrant. You set a goal for yourself in 2016 that you were going to retire at the age of 30. You're three years out. You S on track to do that? That was my goal was to chronicle this path to tire early. When I started this journey, I didn't know that "Journey to launch" would turn into my business, something that brought me joy and purpose in life. I'm still on the path to financial Independence. It may take me a little longer which is totally okay because I'm walking in my passion and purpose now. I want to share that message with everyone. You can set a goal and go after it, but things may unfold, but you just be flexible and find another path to your dream. You'll be okay. You're looking at 41, 42? Is that what I'm hearing? You know, maybe I'll accelerate it now that I'm walking in my truth. We'll see. Could be 38. Talk to her now, robach. You're not going to see her again. Let's get to some questions our viewers are interested in your advice when it comes to the holidays. This is the time we're used to spending, maybe more than we should. How do you handle theholidays, tips for saving versus spending? This has not been a conventional year. Who says you can't celebrate after the 25th? Buy smaller, less expensive items for the Christmas day experience of open gifts. Then buy more expensive items after Christmas. Many retailers are offering their best sales. They're trying to move on unsold inventory. You can get good deals after Christmas for bigger items. You hear that, robach? Don't be offended when you get a small gift from me. It will be a happy new year's gift from T.J. The big one is coming later. In terms of specific gifts, do you have any ideas for our viewers, what they should be buying? Look pping local. Right now local businesses are suffering. If you can give gift cards to your local restaurants or shops, it's a way of giving back to your community and giving a gift. You can support local businesses. The fact that we're all home, gifts to make our home more comfortable are ideal. That can range from candles to streaming services. If you buy someone a streaming service subscription or even electronics. We're all G to stay home. Let's make it more comfortable for everyone. That is great advice. I think everybody can relate to everybody is going through something.
