Transcript for Lance Bass discusses new series ‘Unicorn Hunters’
Our next guest, a member of the one of the most popular boy bands of all time. Now he's focusing his attention on discovering the next billion-dollar company in the brand-new series "Unicorn hunters." Here he is now to tell us about it, the one, the only Lance bass. Young fellow, good to see you. How you doing? Doing good, how are you T.J.? Man, I am great, and maybe not as great as you. The great news you announced not too long ago that you and your husband are expecting twins, actually twins. How is that news settling in for you? Oh, I mean, we are so excited. It's been a long journey for us. Yeah. With the ivf surrogacy process. We're just so excited. It's amazing. I can't believe twins are on the way, but my husband's a twin, so it's something he knows a lot about. Okay, it's really cool our viewers, we put some pictures up, but when you started talking about the twins and the family, just to see that smile on your face and see you light up is really, really cool. Just wanted to say congratulations about that. Next, I have to go to something that a lot of people were talking about and saw and maybe it's just me, I'm thinking like you all are a gang or something, 'N sync and backstreet boys, you would all see each other on the street and get into a fight. That's not really the case. But to see you all team up was really interesting. What's that like teaching those guys your moves? It was definitely a crazy moment to teach some of the backstreet boys the "Bye bye by" dance. You know, it's crazy, yes, we really didn't get to know each We were under the same label, other back in the day. but we were kind of pit against each other with a little friendly competition. You know, the older we got, I started a friendship with A.J., because of the pandemic I started a friendship with Nick, and it's been really great getting to know those guys. How were they on the "Bye bye bye" dance? Really, could they pick it up? Surprisingly, they picked it up very quickly, which makes me think they learned that thing before. I'm telling you. They did. They've been doing it for 20 years probably. Uh-huh. Let me ask you about this hunt that you're on, remind people what we're talking about when we talk about a unicorn in the business world, and tell me why you're hunting for one. Yeah, a unicorn in business is the next billion-dollar business, and that's what we're looking for on "Unicorn hunters." It's been so much fun. I've been an entrepreneur and an investor for a few years now, and this show is so exciting because it's the first time it democratizes the raise on a pre-ipo, which used to be illegal. This is the first show the audience actually watching can make money themselves and invest in these incredible companies. Lance, it is always good to check in with you, good to see you. Congrats on everything including the show and the family and everything you've got going. It's good to see you, we'll see you down the road, okay, my man? Thank you, T.J.
