Transcript for Medina Senghore dishes on new thriller, ‘Those Who Wish Me Dead’
I wonder if we'll still be here. I don't know. I love you. I love you. Yeah, there was a lot going on in this movie, y'all. I'm telling you that is a scene from the new survival action thriller called "Those who wish me dead" and you will want to see this and you are going to love and be rooting for our next guest, this movie is full of twists and turns but you are going to love it. My kind of movie, keeps you right on the edge of your seat, and we have one of the stars of the film here to tell us about it, Medina senghore, thank you so much for being with us and I love this part of it, too, because there are no helpless women in this film, no, this is about girl power among a lot of things. Tell us about what meant to you as a woman actress, to be able to be that strong female lead. Absolutely. That was one of the things that so attracted me to the script the first time I read it. Now, how do you wrap your head around that role and get prepared, and how much do you have in common with this character that you play? Well, the one thing that we definitely have in common, and the first thing that was for me, was the mama bear instinct. Because I'm a mother, I've been pregnant, and I've felt that thing that just comes over you. I love that you're in this movie and there's a movie like this for all of us to watch, the film again for those who didn't hear, "Those who wish me dead," it can be seen this Friday in theaters and on HBO max. Medina, thank you so much for being with us today. We appreciate it. Thank you for having me. And now, we have our own
