Reporter: This morning, fotis dulos, the man accused of murdering his estranged wife and mother of five children, Jennifer dulos is in critical condition after his lawyers say he attempted suicide. Police conducting a welfare check after dulos failed to appear in court for a bail hearing. Finding him unresponsive in his Connecticut home. They could see through a window that Mr. Dulos was sitting in his vehicle and he had obvious signs of medical Reporter: Dulos was airlifted to a New York hospital and is being treated in a hyperbaric chamber for carbon monoxide poisoning. The 52-year-old was under house arrest out on $6 million bond facing a murder charge in the death of his wife Jennifer who disappeared last may after dropping off their children at school. The couple had been in the middle of a bitter divorce and heated custody battle. Dulos has always maintained his innocence. According to court documents investigators say security video shows a man they believe to be dulos riding a bicycle towards Jennifer's home the day she vanished. Police think when she returned home, dulos was, quote, lying in wait alleging he used zip ties to secure and incapacitate her. They said her blood was found in multiple locations in her home, Jennifer's body has not yet been found. Here at the hospital dulos is being treated with specialized oxygen therapy.
