Now that terrifying moments in the air over Hawaii when a passenger spotted what to be appeared flames outside his window. Incredibly tense moments after a military chartered flight suffered a terribly mechanical issue minutes after taking off from Honolulu airport, from the air force base only a few miles away. The pilot declared an emergency engine failure. And then returned to the airfield. One passenger onboard tweeting so our plane almost blew up just now leaving Hawaii. This was a terrifying scene inside the cabin. Pitch black, with all of the lights out, and flames could be seen flashing outside the window. From the ground, witnesses could hear explosions before those bright flashes of lights. The plane landed safely with no injuries reported. The situation is being closely looked at. Dan?
