And the longer hours with deep discounts seem to be doing the trick for retailers. This holiday shopping season already shaping up to be better than last year. Christmas is almost here. Reporter: This morning, the final countdown for present procrastinators. And the Christmas clock is ticking. Less than 15 hours at target, 14 at toys 'R us. 13 at Walmart. And 11 at macys and Kohl's where doors have been open for 100 hours straight when they both close at 6:00 P.M. Tonight. As for online shopping, Amazon offering free same-day delivery in some cities. But place the order by 10:00 A.M. Less than three hours left. Another option? More and more people are buying items online and picking them up in the store. And the stores are encouraging that trend too. Reporter: Buy online at toys"r"us, pick it up in an hour. Best buy.com, 4:00 P.M., pick it up by 6:00. But don't expect to get your pick of the litter. Especially when it comes to the season's hottest toys. This year there are a few toys that are especially popular. There's a toy called puppy surprise. It's a retro toy. Reporter: Some parents so desperate to get their hands on the "Frozen" ice palace play set, paying double on E bay. Money ticking up while the clock ticks down.
