Transcript for Danica McKellar, Valentin Chmerkovskiy Voted Off 'Dancing With the Stars'
Michael? Tensions were riding high on "Dancing with the stars" last night, thanks to guest judge Abby lee miller from "Dance moms." But there were plenty of fan tasting dances, it was so hard to pick a favorite, we put it to a vote. What was your favorite individual dance last night? Here's what youed a had to say Meryl and Maks. We'll talk to the booted couple. But first, here's a look at last night's most dramatic moments. ? Reporter: The semifinals, just one week away. The pressure is on in the ballroom. Derek hough and Amy Purdy back, after a trip to the hospital, grabbing perfect scores for their Argentina tango. Charlie white taking home a flawless score for his quick step. He was off the starting block like a thoroughbred of the Kentucky derby. Reporter: Meryl Davis dancing a sexy rumba with Maks, leaving Abby lee miller, less impressed. When you did the side extension, that foot was like this. I don't care for anything that she has to say. I thought it was harsh. A bit aggressive. Reporter: And for the first time in dancing history, the celebrities hit the floor, dancing together without their pros. Purdy and James Maslow, dominated the duo. 10. Reporter: But the wonder week coming to an end for Danica Mckellar. It's been amazing. I had the best time ever. Reporter: For "Good morning America," Cameron Mathison, ABC news, Los Angeles. Thanks to cam for that. Great to have Danica and Val here now. It's great to see you. Bruno called your tango your best performance. I like the character. An evil queen. When you said that and you still get eliminated from the show, how does that feel? That's just the show. It's part of the show. You never know when you're going to get eliminated. You have to live in the moment. It's a good life lesson, actually. All throughout the season, and everyone, just the family atmosphere. Speaking of family, Maks, your brother, we know how he felt about Abby, the guest judge last night. We got a question for you, Val, from Facebook. And they want to know, what do you think of Abby as a judge? I don't know. I don't have any real emotion towards Abby. I don't care in a positive way. I don't care in a negative way. She's there. You know. It's like the props in the back. Come on out, Abby. Come on out. Kidding you. Val, you see, obviously, you are tired. You have flown all night. We thank you for that. We know you. You're like family around us. You seem down. Are you sad to see your partner, Danica, not finish the show and go all the way? Yeah. There's disappointment. But I feel like whether -- I think part of the sadness is the fact that it's over. Not necessarily that, you know, we didn't win. Whether we would have won or made it to the finale, now this huge void that you've been so passionate about for three months is gone. I think that's the hardest thing to do. Danica, you are still wearing that brace. How do you feel? They're sore. But they're getting better. I'm doing different therapies. Laser therapy, electric bone therapy. Homeopathic. And herbs. Something is working. Mix it all up, something has to work. You danced with Val. You danced with his brother, Maks. Who is your favorite to dance with? The favorite is easy. They're both great. They're both so cool. I need that. One thing I learned in this competition is how to be kind of more cool. Did you tap into a part of yourself that you didn't realize was there? This has been the most challenging thing I've ever done. I write books to inspire girls in math. And I tell them, challenge yourself. If it's a math problem, or dancing for a million people. Challenge yourself. That's what -- I love that about you, Danica. Val, congrats. Thank you. Thanks for coming in. Semifinals begin at 8:00, 7:00 central, here on ABC. Now, over to Amy.
