Reporter: Jenny victor is so fixated on cooking a perfectly healthy meal, doctors are calling her precision dangerous and potentially life-threatening. In the past six years, her compulsive attention to every morsel has morph into a full-blown eating disorder. Orthorexiaer in volunteer is a, a sick sags with righteous eating. Any time anyone goes from eating a variety of foods to restricted foods, it has the potential to become unhealthy. There can be deficiencies in micronutrients, vitamins, minerals. It's not about losing weight or restricting myself. Reporter: It's taken a toll on her body. Jenny as adegreeal fatigue and an underactive thyroid. The 22-year-old often orders in dinner because the kitchen has become a battle ground. Cooking with her or around her is simply an anxious-type of experience. I'm not very nice in the kitchen. No, she's not. Reporter: Jenny says she's slowly trying to stop demonizing food. And since filming, she's made major progress and is now free of her old eating ways. I know that I can do this.
