Jesse, you are going to do the honors on "Pop news." Are you ready for "Pop news"? Let's get into it. Big news for "Ghostbusters" fans this morning. That's right. It is slime time. The director of the female driven reboot Paul Feig tweeting he'll reveal this. Melissa Mccarthy and Kristen wiig prepare to fire up the proton packs it's revealed Emma stone passed. She turned it down because she wasn't up for the commitment of a franchise calling it, quote, a whole thing. What does it mean when a girl says it's a whole thing? Awesome thing. It's a whole awesome thing but takes a lot of time. Commitmentment. She has the luxury of being able to pick and choose. Maybe sheemd come back and revisit later as a villain. Always a lot more fun to be the villain. In other news I got a lot of good news for ladies out there. You're welcome. Big news for you. Channing Tatum and stars of "Magic Mike" are heating things up on the brand-new cover of "Entertainment weekly" hitting newsstands. Try to calm yourself down, Paula Faris. I'm not looking. First look and spoiler alert, unfortunately they keep their pants on. Ah. Sad news. Tatum telling them they're working so hard on the dance routines they suffered injuries and Joe Manganiello had to finish up weeks of shooting with a torn bicep and our own Michael Strahan has a starring role and in case you missed it he shared his ship to the wardrobe department and look like he might do gold lame. Seriously. Everything and I do mean everything will be revealed when "Magic Mike" opens at theaters come July 1st. What is gold lame? Well, it's what you saw. I don't think many will be looking at the gold lame. Interesting. Now I got this mental image in my mind that I can't shake. Do you feel like we're objectifying men right now. Save your judgment for later. We'll have a "Gma" party viewing. It's going to be fun. A lot of fun. A lot of people -- You'll be invited too. Thank you. With my gold lame, whatever. I'll bring it. It's great. Finally I could not let this one go. Wait for it. See what I did right there. An all-star team of 5-year-old t-ball players hit a home run with its "Frozen" themed photos. This is the team that posed in their Elsa dresses in 90-degree weather. Clearly that didn't bother them anyway because the photos quickly went viral. The photographer, Betsy Gregory is the mom of the team's catcher Avery. Look at that hit, great form. Says the experience has been empowering for the girls to see they can dress up like princesses and still be tough. How awesome is that? What a great idea. It's not as easy running in a dress, I'm going to say B they did it with style. They were mean mugging in those photos. Don't mess with them. That is your "Pop news," ladies and gentlemen. Good job, Jesse. Nice job. We got a lot more coming up.
