Transcript for Female Jewelry Store Robber Strikes Across Several Southern States
Now to a one-woman crime spree down south. Police in three states are trying to catch this armed jewelry thief before she strikes again. They have these security shots of her to go on and ABC's Phillip Mena is here with story. Reporter: Good morning. This morning, that jewelry thief remains on the run. Her heist happening over the past month. In each case, she pulls out a gun to get what she wants. I'm afraid I can't let you take those. Reporter: It sounds like a plot of a heist movie, a female thief walks into the store without disguise and walks out $400,000 richer. But it's not a movie. Police looking for this woman seen here, she's already hit up at least three jewelry stores across the south. These are brazen, street R robberi robberies. These are more on the outskirts. Reporter: First robbing a Zale's in draw sobville, Georgia. She stole an estimated $13,000 worth of goods. Her next stop, Panama City beach, Florida, robbing a reed store. Minutes before an U.P.S. Delivery man walked in. They were tied up. Reporter: Earlier this month in South Carolina, this time brandishing a black handgun, ordering workers into the back and restraining them with a zip tie. While the unidentified woman is only one seen on camera, it's possible she's not working alone. There are definitely accomplices, they're going to do it again and they're going to get caught. This morning the jeweller security alliance is now offering a $10,000 award to try to get her caught. All right, Phillip,
