All right, "Pop news" time. Happy Tuesday, everybody. And we begin with a place close to my heart, Nassau coliseum former home of the New York islanders finally due for a, yes, much needed renovation and no better man to shut it down than Mr. Strong island himself. Billy Joel. Tonight, the piano man will play a sold out sendoff for the 43-year-old arena. Joel played the coliseum 31 times including his first ever big show. He says he remembers it like it was yesterday. The khouw coliseum hosted Johnny cash, led zeppelin, Paul Mccartney, Madonna, Elvis, just to name a few. I'm not bragging about my homeland. Were you there for the Elvis show? I was at many and -- Wow! So there we go. There it is. Tit for tat. The new Nassau coliseum opened December 16th. My age. Also in "Pop news" this morning, if the one direction concert isn't enough to get you out of bed you need to check your vital signs. Second we may have a solution. An inventor designed the ultimate contraption, yes, to catapult you out of your dreams and into the day. That's an air compressor, fires you out from underneath your sheets. And if that's not enough, he's also added like a light system and a trumpet sound for maximum -- That looks like hell. That sounds like a lawsuit. Oh, my gosh. Waiting to happen but the trumpets and the alarms. The guy woke up in a full suit, by the way. Does that happen, as well. Trying to get a kick starter and it'll jump start your day. Not an entrepreneur. He thinks people will want to wake up like that. As morning people, as morning people, we know that some days something like that is necessary. Helpful no doubt. The morning commute can be just despicable for all of us but before you start complaining how do you think these folks feel? No luck for these Irish drivers who came face-to-face with a massive minion blocking the road in Ireland. Motorists found themselves with a 30-foot inflatable that got loose and floated along the road and into fields until someone swept vector on it. A source close to the story had this to say. Oh, happy Tuesday, everybody. One direction coming up.
