You can snuggle up and watch Issa with "Insecure." Yes. Nice, robin. I love that. That was good. Alley-oop. We talk about your character. Go ahead. Your character is kind of raps to herself a little bit. She does. She's like a -- he's insecure, she's kind of awkward. She's socially kind of inept and she is aggressively passive and she raps to get her feelings out in the mirror. If you had to give yourself a rap name what would it bey. I haven't really thought -- in high school I used to go by miss terious. I did not see that. You know what we did and everybody has a card in front of them. Don't look yet. We put everybody's name into a rap hip-hop name generator. Yes. It's going to kick out our rap names and Issa, we'll let you go first. What would be yours? There's a rap generator. Oh, I-drop. I-drop. I like that. Okay. My rap name is Mikey m.dolla. I like that. That will stick. Mine is battle robi wack ak a diligent smooth. What a name to get on an album. Deacon d.davy. Wow. Mine is -- You guys are so polite. Mine is simple. Yet effective. Lil' ls. Lil' ls. The first thing that generated was not suitable. My name was something -- Well, come on. I can do this. So freestyle for us a little bit. Oh, god. Can I get a beat? ??? Hey ??? ??? hey sitting at the desk and I'm chilling with my homies ??? ??? insecure all day you should get to know me ??? ??? HBO I'm on the beat so thank you I'm Issa Rae on the sheet ??? Terrible. Where does that come from. I'm not a rapper, guys. I'm not. Akai-drop. Drop it. And it was smooth. But I really -- the web series that you had "Awkward black girl" put you on the map and this is like an extension. I wanted to just make black people relate -- I wanted you to see them on screen. See us on screen and put us in these situations we all go through and, you know, race is addressed but it's also like relationship issues and also the story of just like friendship, two black girls being friends, turning 30 and ushering themselves and each other through that kind of transitional period. Growing up did you have any one on TV you felt you could relate to. In the '90s, yes, everybody. It was like "Living single." I could identify with khadisha and "A different world." "Fresh prince" "Girlfriends" so many shows I felt like I wanted to be a part of that era and wanted to write for those shows then by the time I got to college there weren't that many faces. You're bringing it back and want to show you a little bit of "Insecure." Transfer all that lotion from the pump that already comes into this new pump for no reason? I hate you. Just so you know, I will always let you buy a lotion pump. You know how long I've been waiting to hear you say that. Oh, so are you enjoying yourself? I'm having the time of my life. Honestly, this is amazing to just have a show on HBO. Something I dreamed of for a long time and the characters the crew, everybody involved is just so amazing. You're doing it. Dreamed of it. You made it happen. Thank you. Thank you very much. We love your smile. We love your energy. Thank you. Thank you guys. And she rapped it. I'll say it again. You can watch "Insecure" Sunday night on HBO.
