Shkreli says he was delighted after the verdict. His high powered attorney said they were 90% pleased and the prosecutor said justice was served. But Shkreli can breathe a bit easier because the one count that really mattered for the defense which essentially accused Shkreli of robbing Peter to pay Paul, on that one the jury sided with Shkreli. When the government says we're coming at you and put you in jail for 20 years, this is the outcome, you get pretty satisfied. Reporter: The so-called bad boy of pharmaceuticals martin Shkreli found guilty and with a beer in hand live streaming from his home for several hours after the verdict. Even discussing who will take care of his cat while he's in prison. Housekeeper. That's right. You don't like her but she does put the food out. Reporter: His unrelenting confidence on full display. I'm going to figure out how to drop the three of eight charges. Reporter: After nearly a month of testimony the jury took five days to convict him of three of the eight counts of securities and wire fraud he faced. We stand here today at the jury's verdict. Justice has been served. Reporter: This was a witch of hunt of epic proportions and maybe they found one or two broomsticks but at the end of the day we've been acquitted of the most important charges. Reporter: Convicted by a jury that was hard to select in part because of his poor reputation for preceding him from a matter unrelated to Friday's ruling. He rose to infamy branded a cylen after raising the price of an-and cancer drug from $13.50 to $750 per pill. Shkreli has always been quick to white off his critics. One of the headlines even saying that you were the most hated man in America. What's been your response to that? I'm someone who has zero salary at my company. Folks want someone to demonize. They want someone to punish. Reporter: His attorney well aware that his client doesn't exactly have a fan club. Martin is a brilliant young man but sometimes people skills don't translate well. The defense claimed there were no victims. No money lost and that putting him in jail would be a mistake. While he faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison he's likely to get a lot list time if any due to his lack of a criminal record. No sentencing date yet. Lawyers have to argue how much money he should be ordered to pay if any. For those interested he's back on Twitter. Back live streaming again and for a cat fan like yourself his cat trashy is making a number of appearances. That's the name of the cat. Back on the live stream with trashy. Good with cats, not so much with people according to his own lawyer. That was quite a moment there. His reaction was priceless. Thank you, linsey. Great to have you on a Saturday.
