And doesn't hold back when she takes us inside her marriage. Reporter: We've seen her on donna martin. We've seen her as a reality star. But we have never seen tori spelling quite like this. Can we talk about your husband's vasectomy? Well -- Reporter: There's nothing off-limits in her new book, "spelling it like it is." From the headlines about how she lost all that baby weight. Did I stop eating? No. I in no way, shape or form did anything that was completely unhealthy for my body. Basically, jokingly, I would say, you know, stop eating. Diet. Reporter: And reality tv, not being so real. In this scene from her now-canceled show, tori says it's a re-enactment. Do you see what I mean? It doesn't make everything we have done for years fake on tv. Reporter: If there's a place where celebrities don't dish about other celebrities, tori doesn't subscribe to it. Take her crafting idol. According to google you're worth $15 million. You say, I want to set the record straight. I didn't have $1 million. That is shocking to a lot of people. Probably. Reporter: Set the record straight. Are you broke? I am not broke. No. Reporter: But her father, famed tv producer, aaron spelling, died seven years ago, tori reportedly inherited less than $1 million of the family fortune. Did you think you would get more? I lost my father. I lost my hero. But did I think I would get more? Yes. Reporter: But she admits, bad spending habits means she had to scale back. Reporter: You have a masseuse, a live-in housekeeper. Room service. The ritz. Does that get you in trouble? Hearing them lumped together, it's hard to hear it. Reporter: After tori and her HUSBAND, dean McDermott had baby number four last year, financial advisers broke the news. There wasn't enough money for a vasectomy. In their minds, this was an extravagance. Reporter: Today, tori says the one thing she has been running from her entire life, she embraces. I hated the perception that people would put on me about being aaron spelling's daughter. The one nepotism, I feel like i was born with her middle name. Reporter: Not her middle name. Of her last six books, this is the one with spelling in the title. I should be proud. And say I am aaron spelling's daughter. Reporter: For "good morning america," cecilia vega, abc news, los angeles.
