We had last night at about 8:30 in the evening we had to call a nine and one call from Melissa havens. He was screaming and crying saying that she had shot her husband. And while we are trying to ascertain what exactly happened deputies and medical word morale. Arrived on scene and saw her leaning kneeling over her husband. With a pillow trying this stop the bleeding. He was face down in the driveway. And he had been shot. Two times and once in the hand and once in and a chest or and or back. And he was life lighted to a medical facility up and metro Phoenix. And she had given statements that. She believed he was an intruder. Trying to break -- to the vehicle which was in the driveway. And she also gave conflicting information saying that he had taken the keys inside the house -- out. To go purchase milk. At the store so. Based on. Not only that information other evidence that on scene. Our deputies arrested her for aggravated assault domestic violence and she's been booked into our jail and Florence. There were three young children ages 1210 and three I believe and CPS has taken them -- place. And so they could -- a safe environment that until this was all sorted out.
