Now to what's being called a Christmas miracle, a birth onboard a subway in Philadelphia. Ron Claiborne has the story. Reporter: Christmas day, late afternoon. Transit officers Daniel Caban and Darrell James were on patrol in the Philadelphia subway when they got word. A pregnant woman on the train was about to give birth -- now! The train was actually stopped and she was going into labor on the train. A lady was actually having a baby on Christmas. Oh, my god. On the "L." Couldn't believe it. Reporter: As the very soon to be mom laid back on the seats, the two transit cops took over. I was like, get your gloves on. I was like, you glove, come on. She was just focusing on breathing. I was looking at her, making sure her condition was cool. Reporter: A baby boy, born right there on the train. Officer James noticed the umbilical cord was wrapped around the baby's neck. He untangled it. Passengers looking on in amazement. She definitely got her present for Christmas. Reporter: Moments later, the baby cuddled by one of the emergency responders. And today, this emotional reunion. This Christmas baby's name? Chris, of course. Ron Claiborne, ABC news, new York.
