From Georgia tonight, a 13-year-old boy and his mother and a Thanksgiving to remember. For four years, he was held against his will by his father and he found a way to get free. Here is the story. Reporter: A reunion, four years in the making. Tonight a Florida mother back with her 13-year-old son, first reported missing in 2010. I just couldn't believe it. That we found him. Reporter: Police say the boy, who lived with his mother in Florida, disappeared after visiting his father in Georgia. Then, out of the blue this weekend, she received a text message from her son, telling her that he was at his father's house, being kept being a fake wall. Hidden in a linen closet, above the garage, where police found him Saturday. We opened the compartment where he was and I saw him and asked him to come forward and he was horrified. He was frozen with fear. Reporter: Police haven't revealed how the teen got the cell phone. Neighbors say he wasn't always kept hidden, and they had seen him outside in the past, doing heavy yard work. I see him on school days outside working in the yard. Long hours. Reporter: Now, 37-year-old father Gregory Jean and his girlfriend, 42-year-old Samantha Davis, who officials say is already on probation for a previous child cruelty conviction, are charged with false imprisonment and child cruelty. The two are being held without bond, remaining behind bars. The boy they held for so long now free, back in his mother's arms. Mara schiavocampo, ABC news, New York.
