And this evening, new surveillance video from the moments after the gunman carjacked a woman, forcing her to drive while he allegedly began firing from the car. Abc's john schriffen is in santa monica tonight. Reporter: Sources tell abc news, the gunman seen here on surveillance images, entering the santa monica college library is john zawahri. Police say he went on a wild rampage friday. This new surveillance video shows customers in a local restaurant ducking for cover, as the bullets fly. We want to express our condolences to the families of those killed by this cowardly murderer. Reporter: According to "the los angeles times," zawahri suffered from mental problems. Neighbors say the family kept to themselves. He lived here at his father, at the same home set ablaze on friday. The gunman's father and brother, later found dead inside the house. And today, we are learning more about the latest victim, 26-year-old marcela franco passed away this morning in the hospital. She just enrolled at the school and was on her way to campus with her dad, a long-time groundskeeper at the college. The shooter opened fire, killing 68-year-old carlos franco instantly. Her father had been a long-time employee of the college. And was well-liked. Very respected. Reporter: This afternoon, members of the community came together to remember the victims. Many now wondering, what caused the shooter to snap? There will be an increased police presence here on campus when students return tomorrow morning to finish finals. The school says the best way to try and get back to normal, go ahead with graduation on tuesday.
