Reporter: The president has left for camp David for the weekend, but he will continue to be briefed. On Thursday, he spoke to the governors of Texas and Louisiana, and the white house says the president plans to travel to Texas early next week. And word also coming in that the white house has sent the Pentagon guidance on how to serve out the transgender ban? Reporter: Instructing a ban of the recruitment of transgender individuals, and a six-month review on those already in the military, and puts a ban on all gender-related surgeries.
