In chicago tonight, a stunning milestone to mark year's end. 500 homicides. Near a record high which they attribute to gun violence, lowest in more than 40 years. The new york crime rate is 414 that's the lowest. Michael bloomberg talked about the crime numbers for the year, one reason for the spike in thefts is the iphone.
