Reporter: Close to 200 people remain missing after a cargo ship collided overnight with a passenger ferry sending startled passengers into deep water, many had been sleeping. Look at the enormous damage at the point of impact on the cargo ship. The ferry hit had been carrying close to 800 people and was in easy reach to the shore. This man saved himself by leaping off the cargo ship to the ferry. I feel sorry for a lot of the people who've got children. The only option I had literally was going down into the sea with their parents. Reporter: At least 30 are confirmed dead. Officials said that an investigation is set to start once the rescue is over.
