College football playoffs selection committee has finally spoken and it gotten us down to four teens with the national championship on the line. Fourteen of course are Alabama Clemson Ohio State and Washington. Sorry state. Let's take a look at the matchups one by one starting with the peach bowl between number one Alabama and number four Washington. That's no secret that Alabama's one of the best teams of all time back here by 38 when Chrysler numbers we found that they had the highest peak you low rating of any team since 1936. If Washington's gonna have a chance they're gonna have to rely on their balance. But the top ten offense and defense at least according to ESPN stats and in those efficiency ratings. Washington is the most balanced team Alabama has faced all year. But Alabama has a really good offense and the best defense in the country and that's why we give Alabama 64% chance at beating Washington. And at 39% chance of winning the hole playoff which is tops among all four teams still lives. Now on the other side of the bracket we've got the Fiesta Bowl when number two Clemson and number three Ohio State. We actually think rankings aside that Ohio State should be favored. Slim favorites at about 55% according to our model. That makes this a much more even matchup in the peach bowl you know we think it's kind of similar construction where he got one team would balance that's Clemson. Up against the team with a really good offense but a great defense and that's Ohio State. But either way the team that wins this has to be hoping for an upset on the other side of the bracket. If Washington wins the winner of the Fiesta Bowl whether it be Ohio State or Clinton will have about a point puts chance in the championship game. But if Alabama wins and again we think that that's the most likely outcome whoever wins between Ohio State and Clemson is only gonna have a about a 40% chance of winning if last. So if you're the Buckeyes or the tigers he got to be open the Huskies knock off the Crimson Tide.
