Transcript for Trump reacts on Twitter after Stormy Daniels' defamation suit tossed
Welcome back. Stormy Daniels' defamation suit was tossed out after a district court judge ruled when you know who slammed her for lying in a tweet, he was just using rhetorical hyperbole. Thank you. That usually is associated with politics. So does this set a precedent that he can trash anyone he wants to, but they can't really trash him back? That seems to be the way of the world these days. He can say whatever he wants about anybody. Anybody says anything about him, he goes crazy. Defamation is really hard to prove. Read this tweet. I'm going to read the tweet. But defamation -- let me say this. Defamation is hard to prove especially when you go against a public person because the standard is really high. It's actual malice, and I don't know that avenatti should have filed that lawsuit, but it's part of a bigger lawsuit. The bigger part of the lawsuit is the nda and the hush money. But that's not the point. That's not the point here because this is a what he just tweeted. Federal judge throws out stormy Daniels lawsuit versus trump. Trump is entitled to full legal fees. Great, now I can go after horseface and her third rate lawyer in the great state of Texas. She will confirm the letter she signed. She knows nothing about me. Total con. Except that you did say you knew nothing about it, so it turns out you weren't telling the truth, and when you called her a liar it seemed to me that, you know, yeah, you could bring the lawsuit, but what this says about him just -- it's like them saying, well, it's just guy talk when he says, I can grab women by the genitalia. That's what this kind of says, and either everybody has freedom of speech or nobody has it. Everybody gets to say what they want to say, and you can come after me and I can come after you because that's what the constitution gives us. I only left Thursday, so if something changed, let me know. He didn't think she was a horseface when he was having an I a fair with her. She looked pretty good. As you all know when she first came on the show, I was very skeptical of her story and I was totally won over by the arguments she was making about why she didn't want to tell people she originally had an affair or just slept with him, excuse me. She didn't want to tell her husband. She was very eloquent and stated her perspective very clearly. She was, like, I have sex for money, but I'm not a liar. I think that's still 100% fair. I think that our -- whatever you want to say because I had a lot of things to say about Michael avenatti, and I think heshtd pay other legal fees and I don't think she should have to pay it. When you are calling a woman horseface, all arguments you have are now negated. So I have to say this. You're absolutely right. I like stormy, and I like avenatti, but she was on maybe "Kimmel," was it? Where she was making fun of his genitalia size with that whole thing with the mushroom. And I was watching that and I was thinking, he is going to come back at you now, girl, because when you hit him, he hits three times harder. Yeah. So horseface is a reaction to making fun. I think you're right about that. We're in a place right now -- You're right about that. He should not be tweeting about women like this right now. I mean this weekend, women go out to vote and I think this has an impact on things. I have a lot to say about Michael avenatti too because I think she has every right to tell her story as she has on the show, but when you pick him as your lawyer, even the judges come out and made statements about avenatti making it more about him and making it ubiquitous. I don't think he does her a lot of favors. I disagree with that. I completely disagree with that. He is actually a very good attorney. He says he is running for president, and I don't want to sit through him running for president in any way. But let's remember this tweet, federal judge throws out lawsuit versus trump. That is not true. One claim was thrown out. The real lawsuit which is the hush money lawsuit, the $130,000, Donald Trump, is still pending and it's still going on. That's because he is a good lawyer. Same judge. Otero is going to come down on this ruling. He said nobody has more ubiquitous in the media than Michael avenatti. Michael avenatti. Don't take it out on her. Agreed. You don't say it to the woman who said, this man called me a liar. You have also other pending lawsuits. You okay? Okay. Of other people he has called liars. So now is this to frighten them away? Sure. Because maybe they don't have the money to pay his stuff. You -- I just -- When he made fun of Dr. Blasey, that was to scare other women from making accusations against powerful men. It's all part of the scheme. I totally forgot she talked -- at the time. That was coming up. Weird how they did it, too. The whole -- Why do I vote?
