Transcript for Hugh Jackman shares a special birthday message for Ryan Reynolds
he's here and look who stopped by for a cup of coffee, right? He is the greatest showman. Thank you. Golden globe winner, Tony winner, Hugh Jackman. It's all good. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. This is a very special cup of coffee we're having because you actually loved it so much you startrd your own company. I went to Ethiopia seven years ago as an ambassador for world vision. We were looking at a fair trade coffee and what a difference that makes and reading Paul Newman's book how he started Paul Newman's own and it was so smart to me. If the heart of his fame he started this and Paul sadly is no longer with us but it continues to give thousands of jobs and give away millions of dollars and we have the first recyclable pod in America and fair trade coffee and I give 100% of my profits back to the foundation which directly supports the growers and the families and communities where we get our coffee from. That's amazing. But most importantly it tastes great. I mean, it's funny, Paul Newman talks about that like frank Sinatra, babe Ruth. They all started and had a tomato sauce and all failed unless it's really good because in the end nobody cares who is promoting it. If it doesn't taste good nobody is buying it. What about this particular company that clicked with you. We started this because what I loved was we had a saying all be happy. So the growers should be happy, the consumers should be happy. The guy working down in my cafe, he should be happy. We wanted to create a product that was just really good for everyone and Keurig is amazing. They have the highest amount of fair trade coffee of any business in the coffee business. So it was -- we were thrilled to partner with them and I love this. Easy. Wherever you are, the pod and now we recycle because that was a big issue for the industry. You know, there's millions of these pods but we're the first and only one in America so have I said that before? I've said it before. First and the only one. I'm going to say it again. You are talk about being easy. One thing that hasn't been easy we'll talk about your friend, Ryan Reynolds. Right, yeah. "Deadpool 2" is coming out. What hasn't been easy he's trying to get you in the movie and wants wolverine in the movie. I might send a little message to Ryan. Where is he? Where should I talk to Ryan? Ryan, hey, buddy, how are you, mate? Ryan, I love you, man. I love "Deadpool." I can't wait to see the movie. You're one of my best friends, Blake, the family, the whole thing but back it up a little. It's J play it -- right. Play a little hard to get. It's too much. It's not sexy. Am I right? Sorry about that. Knowing him he's going to ramp it up now. Yes, probably. You did make the poster, though. You did make the poster for "Deadpool 2" because up in the corner it said from the studio that killed wolverine. So he made sure you were included. He even crafted a birthday message you were making for somebody else. Exactly. We'll take a quick little look at that. I'm really, really busy doing some stuff and -- ??? bet your bottom dollar that -- Yeah. ??? Tomorrow ??? Don't give him too much attention. That's why I can't be ??? there will be sun ??? There will be sun. Happy birthday. ??? Who let the dogs out would let them out ??? no one knows. No one ever solved that mystery. Love the friendship, man and I enjoy my friendship with you as well. Appreciate you coming to the show and what you're doing with the coffee is amazing and you're a man with a good heart. Coming up, everybody, going
