This all started as a Chinese shopping event but now retailers here in the U.S. Have adopted single's day as one of the biggest online discount days of the year. It's the biggest online shopping day you may have never heard of. Single's day. Started by Alibaba in 2009 selling last year $30 billion in 24 hour, bigger than black Friday and cyber Monday combined. This year nearly 25% of U.S. Retailers will be getting in on the action posting deals on Alibaba's platforms and their own websites. This started as the anti-valentine's day -- as a way to celebrate singles now falls every year on 11/11 and still have Black Friday and cyber Monday ahead.
