We turn to that nine-hour hostage standoff at a bank in Minnesota. One man trapped managed to free himself and Kenneth Moton has more. Thankfully the situation ended peacefully. Reporter: Thankfully, Cecilia, but it was air terrifying ordeal for those people inside the bank with that man who was believed to be police say the suspect was actually in touch with them throughout the incident. They say he even released some hostages right before that heart-stopping takedown. Overnight a dramatic end to an hours long hostage situation in Minnesota. Oh, whoa. They got 'em. Reporter: Before 2:00 P.M. Police say ray Mcneary walked in this bank upset about a prior visit and the manager quickly called 911 afraid for the safety of the employees and other customers. Short time later, we received a panic alarm indicating that a bank robbery was in process. Reporter: When police arrived they say Mcneary was holding five employees inside. Four hours into the standoff one hostage was seen leaving the bank with her hands up. There goes another one. Reporter: Bystanders clapping as another hostage walked out followed by two more. Nine hours after it all started Mcneary could be seen holding one last person near the bank's entrance. Then this moment, that hostage leaping out of the door. Stay safe. Reporter: FBI agents and police rushing in taking that suspect into custody. Just incredible moment there is, incredibly no one was injured. Investigators confirm reports that the suspect took the phones of the hostages to go live on social media.
