We turn to the coronavirus emergency which as we covered was a prominent topic in last night's debate as our nation's death toll surpasses 205,000 Americans and 14 states reporting an increase in deaths and 31 states with an increase in overall cases and Eva pilgrim joins us where positive cases are spiking as more begin to return to class. Good morning, Eva. Good morning. Just as New York City elementary school students returned, the city reporting its covid positivity rate ticking up above 3% since June. The city ready to close schools as early as next week if the average remains above 3% for etch days. New York governor Cuomo saying if the schools are not safe I'm not going to allow them, period, Michael. Eva, we know there are two alarming reports about the rise in coronavirus cases among young people. That's right. The CDC finding a big increase, 55% in the weekly covid-19 cases among people aged 18 to 22 from August 2nd to September 5th and another looked at one in north Carolina showing how quickly it spread within the campus re-opening.
