Now we will go out west where triple digit temperatures and high winds are fueling dangerous conditions. The wildfire gets dangerously close to an amusement park forcing families to evacuate. Will Carr is there in Valencia, California, with more. Reporter: Good morning. So many families were enjoying the weekend on the rides behind me when the fire broke out. This morning, you can still smell the smoke in the air after a terrifying afternoon. On a scorching afternoon a fire erupted next to a packed amusement park. Watch families flee. Kids wipe their eyes and cough. Thick smoke blanketing the area. Fire crews race to the scene. You can see just how close the flames came to the water slides in hurricane harbor. At first the park was evacuated. Some families ran to their car. But authorities quickly shut down the ramps to the nearby interstate and asked them to stay inside magic mountain while crews fought the fire. Crews were driving by. Kids were covering their mouths, saying they have asthma. Reporter: At least five people were rushed to the hospital. Smoke was blowing right down in the park and a number of individuals complained after smoke inhalation. Reporter: Certainly some scary moments for the families here.
