We got a story I want to get to real quick. This is really cool. I have my dog Enzo. I love him. There was a fox terrier named duchess that disappeared from the family's home in Florida over 17 years ago. 12. 12 years ago. Read the prompter. 12 years ago. Duchess was found 1,000 miles away in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The dog's owner Katherine strang drove from Florida to Pittsburgh for an emotional reunion. We can see it right there. Today Katherine and her son Brandon and her dog duchess are here with us. Guys come on up and join us. Join us on the couch. Hey, guys. Brandon, nice to see you. Nice to meet you. Hey there duchess. Look at duchess. Incredible story. Yes. Take me back. What happened the day you lost duchess? I had just got home from school. I was probably 11 years old. My friends came and knocked on my door. I didn't even crack the door open. She stuck her head out and was gone. I chased after her for a good mile or two. I got to the bridge where the turnpike is and I couldn't see her. I walked back home and called my mom to see what I could do. After 12 years, 84 for duchess, how does it feel to be reunited? That was a good one, Sara. It was absolutely awesome. I got the phone call and I was elated. The most important thing was we kept up with her microchip. She was microchipped. You were paying every year for the chip. Every year. I paid $15 every year. I moved ten times between her being lost and found. I moved two weeks before she was found. I had just done it the week before. I updated the information. My phone number always stayed the same, but the address. How long did you have duchess before she was missing? A year and a half. You kept her in your heart. Absolutely. She has two more younger sisters. Three younger sisters. She made me love the breed. When you got her back, did she remember you? She was sedated at the shelter. That reunion you saw she was pretty sedated. She's come and pawed the back of my leg. She follows me around and she sleeps with me. She's coming around. She's back at home. She's back at home. We know that your family and duchess have gone through a lot. You have a lot of time to make up for. We wanted to do something nice for you guys. We wanted to treat your family to a nice meal. Thank you. And for duchess, dog food for duchess. Human food for you guys. We wanted to make sure we made that possible for you guys. Thank you. I'm a dog lover. Sara is as well and keke as well. This is a big story for us. We wanted to highlight you guys. Thank you so much. Thank you so much. We appreciate it. We also want to give a ick shout out to the humane animal rescue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania who found duchess. Thank you to them. This is a great lesson about microchipping your dog. You didn't give up and 12 years later you have duchess back. Absolutely. That's the moral of the story. That happened to me in my childhood, my childhood dog rusty, we found him in about five months because of the microchip. He's gone now. Rest in peace rusty. Thank you so much and enjoy that food, everybody. Coming up we have one of the funniest people on the planet.
