a favorite of celebrities to Kerry Washington to Kate Middleton. She wants to change the way all women shop and Adrienne Bankert is back with more. Yes, Lela rose is amazing and a lot of us look at the new year as a way to set new resolutions and hit the refresh button on our style. We decided to catch up with her for party looks and inspiration for working women as to the secret to her success. From weddings to red carpets, her chic designs are a favorite among celebrities, even royalty. I strongly believe in the dress because it's one zip and you're done. You can dress it up, dress it down but takes you everywhere. Reporter: Her bright and effortlessly sophisticated style helped women look their best for more thank 20 years. I started my business literally in my apartment on the floor kind of like cutting and sewing pieces but I just, you know, had pluck and was like I'm going to be a fashion designer and I'm going to make this happen. ?????? Reporter: All about the perfect dress and having a lot of fun. Her fashion shows are a celebration whether on a boat or parading through the streets of New York with a marching band. You are like this hostess with the mostess and taken a special occasion dress or uniform and made every day a special occasion. How did you do that? You know, that's why I love design. I think clothing really can change your outlook on how you create the day and even whom you greet. I approach design and who whole collection and everything we do as it's supposed to be fun and special and see there's not a lot of black in here. It's feminine and pretty and just makes you happy. ?????? Reporter: Her newest line, pearl, by Lela rose. Every piece there is a pearl sewn in the piece. It shares her legacy with a new generation and has pop-up trunk shows. We built this where we empower women to take this collection that we bill and build your own business and so they take the collection and offer it in a trunk show setting. This business model we've come up with and done, it's all about being in your living room with girlfriends, sitting on the sofa, enjoying something to eat. Having a drink and being like you look so cute in that. I want to try it on. Reporter: At Lela's led quarters they create fashion magic. Cutting, doing pattern work, sketching. Figuring out fabrics and start collection. So clean considering you're doing all that work. We cleaned up for you. Reporter: Her showroom a jewel box filled with inspiration for the new year. New year's eve we all try to look our best. Sometimes we don't know what will entire us. It depends on what your event is. If you have a dressier event, I love going with a little metallic, sparkle. If you walked into the room wearing this you'll be the belle of the ball. A showstopper. I love showshopper. You should definitely be one. If you walk into the room, stop the show. All right, deal. I love her. You can find more information on pearl events if you want to show up at one online. She wants to have fun which is what all of us want to grow up and do as we work and enjoy our lives. All the designs and fabrics are her original designs. Phenomenal. She's brought femininity into full force. I love all of her dresses and looks. Franchising trunk shows, smart again. You wore many hats.
