Adding that without that discipline he could have been one of those kids that was lost in the streets. His statements cited by roger Goodell when he sut suspended him for the rest of the season. Declaring the former NFL mvp failed to show meaningful remorse, something Peterson denies. Don't say I'm not remorseful. I regret everything that took place. I love my child more than anyone could imagine. He's appealing the suspension without pay. And he has a message to those who link him to the other famous football player, saying, quote, don't put me in the same category with ray rice.
