So -- how many try to do the right thing? ABC's Abbie Boudreau has the story. Reporter: Watch this young boy, the man you see with him appears to be a stranger trying to coax the boy to go with him. I have candy, I have TV. Reporter: Watch what happens when the boy tries to get help. This man in a jacket -- Instead of helping -- He said some guy put him in his car. I'm his father. Reporter: He walks away even shaking the stranger's hand. Thankfully this kidnapping is actually a staged scene. Yousef filmed it posing as the kidnapper. He wanted to find out what would real people do if they saw this happening. Do you think this video may have gone too far. I don't think so at all. If no one pushes it far how will we get change. Reporter: Why did you want to do it? To change the world. Reporter: Several people help protect Nathan. I have pepper spray. What are you going to do with the pepper spray? Reporter: This man, Andre Jefferson says his instincts just kicked in. My son, what are you doing? That's your dad? Reporter: You felt responsible. I did. I felt 100% responsible because he came to me. When I revealed it to him -- Sir, you're on camera, under the car. When I pointed the camera and shook his hand, his hand was shaking. I think I was more scared than the bill boy at that point. I was crying when I saw that he was -- he did not let him go near my son. Reporter: Now this powerful video asking all of us how would you react? We all need to keep our eyes out and take care of our children.
