Now to that pro surfer and model charged in a mysterious case of road rage. In custody after allegedly hitting an older woman with her car on purpose. ABC's John muller has the story. Reporter: This morning, the self-proclaimed surfer and model portrayed in this T.E.D. Talks video spreading her spiritual message. Never lying, cheating, stealing again, just making those changes, my life has unfolded. Reporter: Is now charged with attempted murder and being held on $1 million bail. This mug shot of 30-year-old Jill Hanson, a far cry from the woman depicted online. Her tumblr page shows an aspiring surfer and in this youtube video for her wet suit 3wr57bdz she appears to be headed for success but in a dangerous case of road rage police say Hanson apparently followed 73-year-old Elizabeth Conklin to her apartment building and intentionally struck her with her vehicle. She saw my car. It was the car she wanted. She followed me. She was going to kill me and get the car. Reporter: She says Hanson would have hit her again if not for the quick thinking of a good samaritan. Christopher Cory smashed the rear window of Hanson's car. Just saw her in her car getting ready to hit me again. He totally saved my life. Reporter: Hanson fled the scene on foot leaving her damaged car behind but was tracked down and arrested just a few hours later. I parked in my Normal parking place and I got out and then all of a sudden I woke up in an ambulance. Reporter: It isn't the first time the competitive surfer has had a run-in with the law. According to court records Hansen's father filed a temporary restraining order against her if February. For "Good morning America," John muller, ABC news, New York.
