Not a fallout from george. What could be a major breakthrough for families struggling to have children. Researchers have identified a simple technique that could dramatically improve the success rate for cups using in vitro fertilization to have a baby. Abc's chief hed and medical editor dr. Richard besser is here to tell us about it apparently using cameras. Incredible. For coupling struggling with fertility test tube babies, in vitro fertilization is the way to go. Success rate not high, 42% for women under 35. Using simple photography in inc. Gland looking to try to pick out which of these developing embryos are the healthiest they were able to raise that to 61% which is a dramatic increase. That is. Although you say it is a small study, ivf can be very expensive, though, for families. This could encourage more families to try it. I hope instead of encouraging more to try it, it helps couples -- there's an incredible emotional toll when you go through a round of in vitro fertilization and not result in a healthy baby, here if you're still selecting the couples right for this, but you're raising their rates this much higher, I mean, in terms of cost and just that family, it's a dramatic improvement. So this could -- this new development if it's replicated could be huge. I think it could be huge but it does need to be replicated. It's amall study but a simple technique of just looking and figuring out which ones will be the healthiest is pretty amazing. It sure is. Okayrich, thanks very much. So right, families, a lot of families that go through this, such a difficult thing. I have such a lot of friends that have.
