Everybody wants the same kind of policing. Where the year in a community Oren a law enforcement organization you want officers in a respectful appropriate way. Talking to people what what I. And focused on having conversations about it is is there's something about viral videos which wasn't a first and last don't think there were viral videos at a Ferguson. But some of the viral videos that depict real police misconduct or perceive miss police misconduct. Is there something about those that is affecting law enforcement. At the marginal proactive policing edge that is. Our officers in some places. More reluctant to get out of their cars and engage in the kind of community policing that helps reduce crime that. 2 in the morning get your car saying the five guys on the corner so what are you doing here because live around here. Those conversations. Reduce crime I'm not against videotaping police I'm not against scrutiny we get better that way. But I'm asking is is there something unintentionally. Affecting our communities. That is contributing to the spike in violent crime. I don't know for sure but I know talk all of us don't law enforcement agree on one thing you gotta stretch the connection between the bad guy in the gun. That is if you can get them to think about the gun as a liability MB afraid of getting caught with Beck on. And a stash it someplace they'll hide it someplace someone in the gang will be in charge of the guns. There won't be here in the wing span and that makes a huge difference because. Most murders on the street or happenstance homicides so much disrespect at someone and what would have benefits right. Becomes a shoot after the con is here. That when something bad happens if you're in law enforcement you can immediately text five people in the affected community leaders and get an immediate response you have things. And so investing in those relationships while the sun is shining pays off when this time of pain and confusion.
