Several states are bracing for severe weather now well for one we have to. Tropical depressions that are south of Florida both expected to become tropical storms in the next few days depression nine moving up the gulf toward northern Florida. Residents in the Tampa Saint Petersburg area are already filling sandbags and getting ready for heavy rain there as well. And then there's depression eight which is moving up the East Coast toward north Carolina's outer banks. And expected to become a tropical storm later today beach goers actually already seeing rough surf and rip currents there. With heavy rain ahead. More now from ABC's Jim Jersey. And this one looks like tropical storm warnings in place the storm that is now dropping quite at a rain for South Florida to Cuba pulled that one has become a tropical storm and then make its northeastward turn between Tallahassee and Tampa. Well there's also nasty weather in the Pacific who with a hurricane watch for Hawaii's big island for hurricane Madelaine. That's a category three storm and hurricane Lester a more powerful category four is further out and not immediate threat to land.
