States of emergency have been declared in Florida and Alabama this morning. As hurricane Michael grows stronger at Florida officials are calling the storm monstrous it could be the worst to hit the Florida Panhandle. In more than a dozen years this morning mandatory evacuation orders are going into effect. And some gas stations already out of gas as people make their way inland. My. It's morning time is running out for millions of people bracing for hurricane Michael as it barrels toward the Gulf Coast this is a massive storm we've not seen anything like it. In a panhandle Michael could make landfall as a category 3 storm Wednesday morning packing a storm surge of eight to twelve feet. The state declaring an emergency in 35 counties activating hundreds of National Guard troops. Residents are filling sandbags boarding up windows and stocking up on supplies. We weren't nervous last night only went to bed and only woke up this morning and all of a sudden it was. Well as the first category two and now it's looking like convenience and that's a rare moment. Mandatory evacuations are now being ordered for parts of the panhandle but there are concerns that some of the shelters in the area won't be able to withstand the heavy winds. In a FaceBook post the what color county sheriff's office warning no shelters will be open. Because the county shelters are safe only for category to prove storm. Every family must be prepared every family remember we can rebuild your house who cannot rebuild your life. And right now in the gulf. Cruise ships are altering their roots some oil and natural gas platforms are shutting down and back on land the air force is relocating aircraft and its base near Panama City to Ohio. Far way from the storm zone. And many schools and government offices in the panhandle are closing today.
