America strong. The school mascot, and proof you never really know who's inside. Reporter: This is air force technical sergeant Cesar Martinez, but this day, he's dressing up as jazzy the jaguar in mes key, Texas. How do I look? Reporter: Cesar is a dad to two boys just back from deployment inpersian gulf. His sons don't know yet. The school mascot walking in, even doing the dance. And then you can hear the teacher. We have a special surprise for you. I missed you guys so much! How are you? Good! I missed you! Reporter: His oldest son, Gabriel, revealing to his father what he asked for every single night. I prayed that he wouldn't die of heat stroke and running out of water. And I prayed every night that he would come home safely and return to his family. And I'm here. See how the prayers get answered? Reporter: A prayer answered, a father home. Welcome home, sergeant. Good night.
