New information coming in on the capture of that drug lord known around the world described as cruel and ruthless and wanted in Mexico -- here in the US. Tonight ABC news is learning what are the keys to tracking down Joaquin Guzman helped topple. What's his own family. Authorities had been tracking their communications messages between family members getting closer to his location. Leading to this moment right here Mexican Marines taking him to the helicopter that would take him to prison. And where did it all in for him. Inside this nondescript Mexican hotel. ABC's senior justice correspondent Pierre Thomas picking up the story from there tonight for the first time taking us inside that hotel room. It all -- here in room full. Miramar hotel not a shot prior. This grainy video released today by a Mexican authorities showing that -- room with Guzman was finally caught. He was snatched breakfast still on the stole an indication of his abrupt departure. And with that the leader of a cartel responsible for 25% of drugs entering the US and 80% of the drugs in Chicago was in custody. After thirteen years on the run this is super important symbolic capture. But look closely and has faced and capture compared to an earlier photo.
